Back in the Jug Agane

Lunchtime approaches on the first day back.
I don't feel madly stressed, but I am tired. I took ages to doze off last night, and although I seemed to get some good quality sleep, it wasn't for long enough. I have so far avoided the temptation to advance on the pub, and drink a few pints of muscle relaxant, and see no reason not to continue in that vein (i.e. avoidance).
It really doesn't feel as though I've been away, really. Never does on return from any length of break, does it?
A trawl through the 200+ emails awaiting my attention shows that not a one is from Human Resources in response to my requests for information. I now have to think up an alternative strategy.
I must remember to do some prescription-filling at lunchtime. And pay an overdue credit card bill which I'd completely forgotten. Oh dear.

Dear God in heaven. I've just been to Boots to get my revised prescription. The doctor doubled the dose of Ramipril. I didn't expect that to double the size of the tablets. These will need a knife and fork...
