What's that all about, then?

caddymanI am taking a few moments out to write a junk entry before getting on with some work. I really don't have the time for luxuries as LJ entries from work at the moment, but I just need something to limber up my brain before I get going, so this is it.
Clearly my acquisitive tendencies are beginning to get out of hand.
Last night I dreamt about paying too much for a digital camera with a lower spec than the one I wanted. I woke up at about 4am feeling rather alarmed that I'd done something so daft before realising that it was only a dream.
Overall, I take this to be a good sign.
If my subconscious has nothing better to do than chide me over expensive and ill advised purchases I haven't actually made, then quite apart from any issues concerning sanity, it hasn't got any really troubling material to work with. That can only be a good thing.
Tonight I should be quizzing, but I shall be sending an email off shortly giving my apologies. Once again there is too much month left at the end of the money, and I have just had to withdraw cash on my credit card pending pay-day. Since this is not the cheapest method of keeping one's finances afloat, I rather feel that I should not then waste it on alcohol, and given that our quiz team are International class drinkers, I refuse to sit in a pub cuddling a half of bitter while they attempt to drink the pub dry. I am supposed to be meeting a bunch of friends for drinks on Thursday, too, but I shall have to blow that off as well.
Oddly, being short of money doesn't seem to worry me; it certainly hasn't troubled my subconscious, which is hung up on inferior digital camera.

If I'd bought it and then run out of money, I could see where my subconscious brane was going with the concept, but since I haven't bought one, and wouldn't have bought one of sucha poor spec as in my dream, I'm not really sure what me dear old brane is trying to tell me.
And I've been running out of money regularly for years, so why it should start now...
