Now I know what four nights of sleep deprivation, madness at work an itchy eye and five pints of pale ale on an empty stomach will do for you.

It means that when you do go to bed at about 1.30am, you don't wake up again until about 2pm (that's not entirely true; I left my radio alarm on by accident and was awakened briefly at 8.30 by Brian Matthews' '60s show on Radio 2, but I dozed off again after three or four tracks.

The upshot is that today hasn't really happened. I went out for a late lunch, bought milk and coffee, and came back. I then spent some time looking at the rubbish in my room rather balefully, thinking about launching out on the great throw-out and tidy-up which presages the onset of packing.

Then I thought 'bugger it' and dozed off again.

I think I'll treat myself to the extended Two Towers a little later.

I got a load of stuff to throw out too, but probably one step behind where you're at - I haven't yet decided what I should throw out! It must be even more stressful to deal with if you are moving house, but I suppose, also provides a motivation to get it done.

I nearly watched the Two Towers today and I nearly did some clearing. I also thought bugger it about the clearing and ended up watching Azkaban instead of TT. Due to watch TT though in preparation for ROTKEE. I love LOTR acronyms.
So does this mean you'll be awake most of the night now after having slept a lot in the day?

Arguably...

It's now 3.23am...

The TT report

Well, it's 3:00 am and the TT has been watched, and Caddy is on his way home. Both Wine and Port were available, and Caddy had over a glass of each! However the rest of each bottle was consumed by self, hence the careful typing.

Hopefully tomorrow eve will see the ROTC (Return of the Caddy) and I will get to watch ROTK which I never saw in the cinema. Must get popcorn in. Also more wine, port, etc.
