Now I've heard it all.

London Underground, copying so it seems, New York, are scaring youths out of Tube stations in the East End by piping loud classical music at them. Only one youth said it wouldn't bother him on the TV article, but reckoned it might be OK with a bit of bass and drum mixed in.

I like that. It's a truly innovative way to deal with the perceived problem - make the kids want to go elsewhere.

It'll probably make most of the tube passengers want to go elsewhere too, but then that's probably why they're on the tube in the first place.
