I think I have worked out why my original post was acting all arse. Privacy lock the the entry and back date it, and the entry gets all confused, I think. In my case it just picked up the last set of info it had, which wasn't from my LJ at all, I expect.

So no-one in Newtown, Australia has been peering in.

Shame, really.

Well, a couple of hours ago, before the bloke's server collapsed under the strain of gazillions of LJ users (ho ho), it would track the last 10 readers of your journal.

Let me just start by saying I'm half asleep. Right, now that's said; I clicked on the "cowjam comment me" linky and if didn't work - error no such entry.

I've pretty much given up on it. Having crashed the server, I doubt that the chap who wrote the code will ever bother sorting it out now...
