Serious Music Expenditure
Saturday, May 8th, 2004 09:44 pmI have some serious music listening to do over what remains of the weekend. Following last night's watching of Later With Jools Holland and a posting by
suitandtieguy (who's changed his tag without my noticing until now...), I went on a CD hunt in the West End this afternoon.
I didn't end up with the John Wetton album I wanted, but picked up another instead, Live in the Underworld so that's OK. I did manage to get hold of the new David Byrne opus, Grown Backwards, and I'm looking forward to listening to them both.
Unfortunately for my credit card, I also picked up the re-mastered Cloud 9, by George Harrison, and the soundtrack CDs to Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2. That'll all keep me happy tomorrow when I'm hacking away at the Michael Kananainos character sheet for NWO.

Date: 2004-05-08 05:31 pm (UTC)i figured it was about time i gave my journal the proper name it deserved. "stgb" stood for Suit & Tie Guy Band, because when i joined livejournal i intended on only using it for posting gig dates or something.
silly me.
