Serious Music Expenditure

I have some serious music listening to do over what remains of the weekend. Following last night's watching of Later With Jools Holland and a posting by suitandtieguy (who's changed his tag without my noticing until now...), I went on a CD hunt in the West End this afternoon.

I didn't end up with the John Wetton album I wanted, but picked up another instead, Live in the Underworld so that's OK. I did manage to get hold of the new David Byrne opus, Grown Backwards, and I'm looking forward to listening to them both.

Unfortunately for my credit card, I also picked up the re-mastered Cloud 9, by George Harrison, and the soundtrack CDs to Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2. That'll all keep me happy tomorrow when I'm hacking away at the Michael Kananainos character sheet for NWO.

Let's see, between about 4 and six this afternoon... Mainly in the Charing Cross, St Martin's Lane area.

ah, me; mainly tottenham court road/ covent garden between 3-5 - was scootering like a maniac through those damn 1-way systems on charing cross road (and several other confusing streets) repeatedly between 5-7.30! (what usually takes me 30 mins, took me 2.5 hours today ... argh).. so maybe you saw me zooming by! ;)

well i didn't shout about it, i don't think it's a matter of obliviosity on your part.

i figured it was about time i gave my journal the proper name it deserved. "stgb" stood for Suit & Tie Guy Band, because when i joined livejournal i intended on only using it for posting gig dates or something.
