I have had a bit torrent running since just before midnight last night.

It is only 349mB and still has over 6 hours to run; the 2.3kB/s download speed mocks my mighty 2mB broadband.

You tried Limewire? Don't know what it's like for anything but music, but for music it's a hell of a lot faster and with a bigger range (although I could just be looking for torrents in the wrong place)
