I'm not sure how it happened, but I seem to have acquired a new laptop without really trying.

I certainly haven't been anywhere to buy one, and I haven't ordered on-line. I need to load MS Office onto it. To do that, I need a copy of MS Office...

In the meantime, can I recommend Open Office? You can save things in MS format and it is completely compatible (and free) and works very well. I have been using it for about a year and love it to death, all my N.W.O stuff is done on it, and pax_draconis has never told me about any formatting issues...

I have been using Open Office for some time and it is good. However, it does garble some formatting from Word.
