I think I concur with the people who have seen the film already; not a bad film, just not as good as the first two.

Comparatively little character development, some nice action set pieces. I think I should have enjoyed it more had I gone on 'Orange Wednesday' and paid half price, but I don't feel ripped off or as if I wasted a couple hours of my life.

So, what odds a fourth movie, despite this supposedly being the last of a trilogy? The final scene before the credits and the scene after the credits left it wide open.

I'll say no more, lest I get shouted at for spoilers.

Now with added spoiler in comments section for [livejournal.com profile] wulfboy. Don't want to see it, don't read the comments.

The final scene of the movie - after the credits have rolled. I take it you left the cinema while the credits were rolling?

On Muir Island, Dr Moira McTaggart walking through the ward with clupboard: a very recogniseable voice says, "Hello, Moira" as she passes a certain bed. Cue camera on a very surprised Moira.

Ends.

They *are* doing a Wolverine spin-off.

As far as a 4th goes I think Halle Berry got it right when I saw her on TV. She said there isn't supposed to be a fourth and if there is Jackman wouldn't be in in because of his spin-off *but* if The Last Stand made shed loads of cash obviosuly the studio might have it's mind changed.

No Nightcrawler in 3 though boooooooooooo.

Having seen the extended trailer at the cinema I can't help but feeling that I have already seen the spectacular set pieces.

Why do trailers these days have to show all the spectacular effects ?!
I worry that it is because there is so little story to 'blockbusters' these days.

I'm getting old because FX driven films leaveme cold.....not good for someone who has spent years hovering on the edge of the special effects industry........ :(

Why do trailers have to show the whole story? Especially for Inspiring Teacher films, Fish Out Of Water films and Succeeding Through Adversity action films.
