Dull, dull, dull.

Poor performance by England. Again. T&T very unlucky not to be ahead at half time.

Man of the Match, John Terry without whom Dwight Yorke would have stuffed us from midfield a couple of times.

The introduction of Rooney and Lennon changed the game. Rooney actually did very little except somehow instill belief in the rest of the team. Lennon provided pace and much needed penetration down the right and suddenly, after 83 minutes of pure drivel, we were 2-0 up.

It would be nice, for once to say England played well. They didn't.

Sweden next.

Well I thought they played well and were unlucky not to get a goal in much sooner.

Then again, I didn't see the first half.

Did you have the lucky hat on for the second half perchance? ;o)

Nope, and the bunting's not up either.

I'm so slack.

Happier than last time

It seemed to be a reverse of the Paraguay match to me (and of such things I have a limited understanding). This time we had a dull first half and slow start in the second, but then came alive for the last 20 minutes or so. The goals were impressive too and didn't need assistance from the other side, so that's got to be an improvement!

But I have to agree, Terry for man of the match - amazing reactions.

Does it go away soon?

Actually I must say that the tube was very quiet on the way home and that was good...

So do you try to beat/draw with Sweden and assure top spot in the group or do you lose on purpose to avoid the germans?

Questions Questions.

Beating Sweden shouldn't be a problem as Crouch will be able to lever himself using Christian Wilhelmsson's rat's arse pony tail. If he rips the blasted thing off I might even have to start liking the big oik!
