Two things I need to mention:
Firstly, thank you to all of you who commented on my post about Dad. It helped more than you know, and thank you for the time, good wishes and messages of support. I owe one of you a proper email response and I'll do that over the weekend.

Secondly, my last post seems to have started a sequence of comments that have wandered off in an entirely unintended and unexpected direction. So much so that I felt a couple of comments were rather nasty and leading to the LJ equivalent of a fist fight.
Well, enough. I have screened the comments; I'm not deleting them, but I don't want open war on my LJ either. You may still comment on the post if you wish (though it is already disappearing into the mists of LJ history), but only I will be able to see them.
