I managed to forget to bring my Premium Bond applications in to work, so that I can post them off and claim my winnings. Grumble. Must grab an envelope and stamp tonight, assemble the papers and post them off tomorrow morning.

Ho hum.

I did remember to acquire a Sony Micro hi-fi from House of Fraser, thus:

Sony CMT-NEZ7DAB

£149.99 discounted to £99.99.

Now to get it home without killing myself!

I recommend Planet Rock. It even does a prog show at some point (not that I can recall when though).

I listen to Planet Rock quite a lot, actually. Particularly Alice Cooper's show!

And I like Terry Wogan on Radio 2

Is T Wogan still on the radio, then? IS his chat show still on TV seventeen times a week?

(been in America for seventeen years, don't get out much)

It's SIR Terry now, of course.

He still does the breakfast slot on Radio 2 and various things on telly (less so than formerly), including Eurovision - his gentle sarcasm is what makes it worth watching, not the songs.

I believe that he still does a lot on some digital pay channels, but I don't get them, preferring free telly as far as I can get it.

Gentle sarcasm is what that annual snore-fest needs! And what about that narcissistic, oily nerk, Noel Edmonds?

He disappeared for a few years before popping up again a couple of years ago with an oddly entertaining TV show called "Deal Or No Deal" which appears to involve a lot of tension and precious little skill, but which is bizarrely watchable for all that.

We have it here too. Just another TV prog I don't bother watching!

It appears that you have managed to get a play-anything hi-fi that includes a digital radio for less than the cost of some digital radios...
