Blimey.

I just downloaded the entire torrent for the Battlestar Galactica season 3 finale in 10 minutes. The torrent topped out at 645kB/s. I ain't never got a speed like that before.

Something to watch before games tonight, then.

Now I shall have to think of something else to download. Anyone seen The Dresden Files? What is it like?

We're enjoying _Dresden Files_; it starts off slow but gets better as the series progresses. It's fluffy but entertaining.

What she said. Though if you have read the books some of the (seemingly pointless) changes are annoying.

It does induce an odd double vision, yes.

So far all the changes they've made have been to TV-ise the product, as far as I can tell. Sadly to be expected here in the States.

I highly recommend this.

If you can locate and haven't seen Eureka, you might find it amusing. I was very dubious at first because they hawked it for months, but it's amiable and has a distinct whimsical charm. Not sure if it's been slated for a second season or not - but since I liked it, chances are it's been canned. :-\

Oh yeash, A Town Called Eureka was good fun. Light-hearted comedic sci-fi with a moral dilemma thrown in every now and then to make it seem slightly less silly :)

Dresden files is fun. Some nice conceits, but doesn't take itself too seriously.

Dresden Files - to be honest I found the ones I saw (the first 3) a bit blah - they pass the time, but nothing to really write home about.

Dresden Files is a bit "monster of the week", it reminds me a lot of Kolchak, and I'm enjoying it.

My download ratio and Miss Furtle's telly watching ambitions would be deeply appreciative of Scrubs 1-5; I could download them if available, but I can't get my ratio above 72% and that would make it worse, meaning that Torrent Damage will just lock me out for longer and longer making ratio building almost impossible!

Not bothered about Deadwood, but the rest look interesting!

We will be blitzing the flat at the weekend for the visit of Mr [livejournal.com profile] telemeister and his lady wife (we don't want him to see how we normally live, see).

I expect to be taking some time off soon anyway, so we can arrange something.

I have quite enjoyed The Dresden Files so far - I have the first 8 episodes. The premise is good although some of the stories are uneven. I think you'' enjoy it though.
