Lordy, it's bank holiday Monday (ii)

Off to iron a shirt in a moment. Then have a shave, then have a shower and go to bed. I swear these long weekends just get shorter.

I think I am fighting off a bug of some sort; I don't feel ill or anything, but I do feel hot and there's only so many visits a body can pay to the smallest room before it gets real old real fast.

Tomorrow morning I shall be able to mark three consecutive days off on my calendar since I last had a smoke. I have felt less grumbly today, so maybe there's hope. I now have to avoid the lure of tobacconists while I am unattended in public. That is the prime task for tomorrow.

I chickened out; we didn't look at fixing the futon. Maybe I'll have a look tomorrow evening when I get back from work.
