A Penguin's Tale: Day Four
Friday, July 13th, 2007 12:02 amA wish for wings that work
Day four and Opus T Penguin, last seen being eyed up by a very startled Nessie, has taken it upon himself to remove himself from such Jurassic danger by taking a cable car journey into the Highlands. Let it not be said that he "hot tailed it out of there", but he chooses to sit on the ventilator...

Low-flying cable cars behind our intrepid waterfowl cause momentary consternation (for despite giving every appearance of being poor CGI, they are in fact real!)...

Few flightless aquatic avians with a herring fixation can have come this close to besting the mighty Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest point, but Opus is undaunted. But hold: how much of this is due to free will and how much due to coercion? Observe if you will, our poor friend held in place by one of his squiddish captors...

Was the rapprochement but a sham...?
Perhaps tomorrow will tell.

I am sure that after four days of his company he has begun to work his magic and will have them wrapped around his .... I was going to say little finger but I suppose that will have to be little feather.
The cable car would be like flying for a flightless avain wouldn't it?
