Can't win

The past few nights I haven't slept well largely on account of the heat. This has left me tired at work and the continued heat there has just made me dozy at the desk.

Last night was cooler and I slept for longer if not better. As for work today. The temperature seems to have fallen, so whilst I doubt that I shall doze because it's all muggy, I may try to hibernate because it's not.

Pah.

Trust me, you don't want this heat. There's very little of it in the sunny variety, most of the time it is of the sauna variety: warm, moist air that makes you sweat if you have the audacity to merely breathe.

We've had heavy rain every day but one for the last month and I have been forced to wear a jumper on several occasions. I'd happily swap.
