As usual, after a quiet summer, the new season's telly is about to start in earnest.

I have just done some footling about on teh intarweb and I see that the torrents are going to get a full and wholesome workout over the next few months, starting in about ten days. We still have to wait until January for the final series of Battlestar, though.

'Series' of Battlestar might be over-exaggerating, unfortunately. Apparently there's a 2 hour TV movie set in the recent past but featuring the Battlestar Pegasus, so probably not many of the regular main cast, and then two sets of 10 episodes, one in early 2008 and the other in early 2009. And that will be the end, which is ok seeing as it needs to end properly rather than trailing on for years, but I still feel slightly cheated out of a proper series!
