caddymanIt appears that I know the members of a band. Actually know them, though I haven’t seen either the two lads for a year or so and the band, ever. I shall have to investigate a little more.
They perform under the rather odd name of Brides of Kong1 and contacted me over on MySpace. Both are erstwhile denizens of the quondam top comics spot, Comic Showcase.

telemeister, my only other real brush with anyone in the biz was years ago when I used to go drinking with Moose, one-time New Model Army chap and more recently a paramedic, if his website is to be believed. He disappeared suddenly one day and turned up on telly a few weeks later playing bass for The Damned.
He never responds to emails; I guess he thinks I want to borrow money or something. Or he can’t remember who I am. Actually I’d just like a pint and a natter like in the old days, but there you are.
