I have decided not to post any more about work (or at least mark it "private" - I need my catharsis, after all) until work provides an amusing anecdote for me to share.

So don't worry, if you're getting fed up with my grumbling about work, I shall find something else to be curmudgeonly about. Hopefully that will be more entertaining.

I find your work grumbling to be generally insightful to the world of the civil service and government. Then again, sometimes if something is really getting you down it's better to walk away and indulge in a bit of escapism than pick the scab. Do whatever makes you feel better and don't worry about whether your posts are entertaining.

You carry on grumbling about work as mush as you like, we don't count work grumbles into reputation - good grief if we did that we'd all be miserable grumbling b*****s!
