Christmas Pressies

Since My Girl^TM and I are spending Christmas in different places - she sipping daiquiris on a boat sailing up the Nile and I trying to get extra sleep in a small bed in Wem - we decided to open our Christmas pressies this evening. I shall be off to Shropshire tomorrow afternoon and she will be flying out from Heathrow on Christmas Eve.

I am now the proud owner of The X Files - The Complete Collector's Edition DVDs. Witness:



All nine seasons plus the movie neatly sandwiched in between seasons five and six. How cool is that?
We have already watched the first disk.

I have spent the last two weeks and have worked my way through season one and should finish the last three episodes of season two tomorrow....ain't it fab !

Hmm, maybe I ought to start watching the DVDs. I watched one episode when the show was still on, several years ago, and didn't see the appeal, and I'd like to think I might enjoy them now, especially if I watch several in one sitting.
