Coming soon from Character Options:

Apart from anything else, you can use it as a pocket watch...

To be released in early February for about £14.99. I don't know what it's made from, but you can get cheap metal pocket watches for a tenner from most markets. Hopefully then, it will be a cheap metal watch.

"This fully working fob watch has detailed engraving on the case and features speech, light & sound FX and watch chain."

Hmm - sounds good, apart from the "speech, light and sound FX" bit ...

Presumably the, you wouldn't put the batteries in, so only the watch would work.

Depending on how many of the batteries drive that stuff and how many drive the watch itself. But that's a very sensibubble idea!

I've seen fan produced versions for an awful lot more than that (but then, they where made from high quality bits).

Yes On onegallifrey / http://www.doctorwhoforum.com I saw a bloke who had an extremely close to screen accurate version produced..... twas a thing of beauty to behold. Another member recreated the masters ring seen in the last episode of season 3.

That's the thingamy! ....I sent Bryan the scan's from the Doctor Who Forum (referred to later in the thread).

As long as the pocket watch used as a base is good quality I think £100 is a fair price....I'd certainly pay £100 for a screen accurate prop.

I believe that http://www.mfxreplicas.com/ owned and run by Neill Gorton make up fx artist for the New Doctor Who series has the licence to produce exact replics of the series' sonic/laser screwdrivers, Judoon Scanners and the Fob watch...

The'll cost more then £100 I bet.

The cunning use of a negative there leaves me uncertain as to your meaning...

Indeed it was :-).
Did I mention your goddaughter is a fledgling fan and would probably love the watch for her birthday?

I see...

Or maybe something else Who-related that might be more play-with-able?
