I think that Green Day may finally have arrived today in the Dollis Valley – it may have been yesterday, but I didn’t venture out, so who knows? The trees are not quite all green, but there are signs that buds are now predominating on even the most recalcitrant tree, so while it’s not as spectacular as memory suggests it should have been, I think Green Day has arrived. I may revise this opinion later in the week.

I was just going to launch into a long entry about this and that, but I find that I have a meeting at eleven, so I better leave any journaling until later.

I hope there’s coffee. What sort of moron schedules a meeting for a Monday morning? It’s right up there with Friday afternoons in the poor decision stakes.

Oh well.

I reckon we still have another week or so to Green Day here in the South, I would have thought the frozen Nroth would be behind us...

This may be common knowledge (if so, pardon my redundance), but I hear that sensible chaps in some organisations schedule meetings for late morning, so there will be less BS and more business. Everyone wants their lunch hour, don't they.

Afternoon meetings are daft: post-lunch snoozing.

It's not the fact that the meeting is in the morning, it's the fact that it's MONDAY morning.

The buggers around here aren't above scheduling lunchtime meetings, either.

It's the same all over then: they treat you like a convenience (oo-er!) and still expect employee loyalty. Bollocks to 'em.
