Tuesday, August 26th, 2003 04:49 pmWell, the Great Wine Experiment is over and I doubt I'll try it again in the foreseeable future (mustn't say 'never').
It seemed like a good idea at the time, but come the early hours it was clearly not. Any elaboration would be too much information.
On to cheerier and alcohol-free news: it seems that The Italian Job, whilst currently deleted on DVD,is up for reissue on 15 September, yay! I feel a purchase coming on.
Thursday sees the return of the office picnic, and the bad weather according to the forecast. That should be fun.
We are hoping that the Marks and Spencer food delivery people can be prevailed upon to take a whole heap of goodies to the 'third tree on the left' in St James's Park. Probably not, we can but ask. Realistically they will deliver it here and we'll have to lug it up through the crowds of sweaty tourists.
There are people in the office here complaining about going. Essentially they are complaining about having a half day off.
No, I don't understand them either.

Anything Can Happen in the Next Half Hour
Tuesday, August 26th, 2003 05:55 pmWhile I'm on a Gerry Anderson theme, let's rank his shows in order of preference, and including the live action efforts in with the pippets. Let's face it, they were just as wooden.
1 is your favourite, and so on down to 12.
I bet half of you haven't even heard of Four Feather Falls...
[Poll #172831]
