Off to see Kill Bill in a mo, once I've finished me ciggie.

I have a vague feeling that it will be one long slice and dice with a soupcon of Tartan Quarantino style thrown in.

I'll let yer know when I get back, assuming I'm not too soused. (Early viewing means pub time afterwards - thought it out, see?).

Ah, once again Quentin Tarantino delivers.

You have to remember that you're watching the movie adaptation of a manga comic that was never written, and then it's fabulous. The plot is very simple, the script is witty and filled with referential jokes. [livejournal.com profile] nyarbaggytep would no doubt miss these >ducks<.

Visually it is a treat. Even the copious amounts of claret involved is too stylistically portrayed to be horrible. The fight sequences are cleverly staged - only twice was the wire work done to portray an impossible move as opposed to a wildly improbable move.

And the soundtrack - I may have to acquire.

In one of the great ironies that is a Tarantino movie, the anime sequence was the most realistic.
