I was so pleased with myself, and full of righteous indignation, too.

I was this close to finishing the initial write up for Luciano, L'Assassine of Narbonne for NWO Rome. It only needed a little editing, some suitable quotations added, and a few objectives and it was done. Or would have been if someone-who-shall-remain-nameless-sans LJ had completed and submitted the relevant plot document. Now Dan the unnamed person has been pretty much uncontactable, so I thought I'd phone [livejournal.com profile] pax_draconis for verbal confirmation of the plotline.

Well, that's when I found that I'd forgotten to include ahuge honking plot piece to which said Luciano is quite central and which will need to be picked up at the Rome game.

So, not quite as finished as I thought.

The sound? That's the feeling of superiority taking heavilly-laden wing out through the window.

Bugger.

I was going to write one of my occasional constitutional rants today, but I'm too tired. Maybe tomorrow.

If you want to know what's set me off, go and see what Uncle's Tony and Blunkett are proposing under Clause 11 of the Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claimants etc.) Bill.

What's that sound, I hear you ask?

It's two madmen with the power of government taking lump hammers to the British Constitution. Again.

Go to the Parliament web page and do a search on the Bill. It's all there. Read Clause 11 and think the implications through.

Hello, Police State, my Old Friend...

In cheerier news, I have finished the first draft of Luciano and e-mailed it to [livejournal.com profile] pax_draconis. I suppose I'd better start another, now.

But not tonight.
