Gentle Reader have to report the death of my computer.
When last I turned it on for a quick browse, it was working, albeit not at its best but tonight it refuses to turn on at all. It looks as though the power unit hath gone belly up and is curling its tootsies even as I type. So for the next few days I am unable to access any of my files and such, speak to friends on MSNor download porn for I am using the laptop I borrowed many moons ago and never quite got around to returning (sorry, Lee - I know you read this from time to time).
Since I know almost nothing about the internal workings of a PC, I shall be on the phone shortly to a couple of people (yes,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

I hope that all it is is the power thingy. As I noted a few days ago, I can't afford a new PC right now, and I have no way of transporting the one kindly offered byjfs a while back...
In brighter news, the lungs seem clear now, and the giblets are less giblety. Back to work tomorrow.
