Thief is too stupid to jail
Thursday, February 3rd, 2005 06:18 pmWell, as I'm still at work, and don't have access to a scanner you'll just have to take my word for this article, which amused me, from today's Metro.
It made I larff, it did.
"A car thief who drove a stolen vehicle straight o a police station out of guilt was told yesterday (that) he was probably too stupid to jail.
"Mohammad Zaman, 22, confessed to grateful officers - who knew nothing of the crime. Zaman, who has previous convictions, admitted stealing the Toyota in Whitechapel, East London, last June. He was granted bail at Southwark Crown Court. Judge Paul Dodgson said Zaman's odd behaviour would get him jailed if it continued. 'Frankly, you're an idiot, and I hope you realise that,' he added"

It's not that it's gone; it's that it lasted so long...
Thursday, February 3rd, 2005 08:25 pmAccording to Auntie, UPN has axed Star Trek: Enterprise.
The last episode will be number 98, two short of the mythical 100th usually required to let a show into syndication.
So, for the first time in 18 years, there's no new Trek.
Frankly, despite picking up in the current season, I'm rather surprised that it lasted quite as long as it did.
