The curse of the lazy man
Sunday, May 1st, 2005 08:04 pmI have just spent a fair amount of the past two hours catching up on tidying work up here in The Tower. A great deal of stuff has found its way into the biggest plastic bag I have ever seen (the one that contained the divan mattress).
As a result, there is now room for the table and cabinet I am getting next week, courtesy John O'C. Once I have that, there will be no reason to refrain from artwork, as I shall have a well-lit place to draw and paint. Hurrah.
There is still some faffing about to be done, but it's getting there. I shall have to run the hoover over all this soon, as there are layers of dust and fluff which predate the arc, and most of which are not my fault. A certain previous tenant does -or did- not seem to understand the use of the vacuum cleaner... Downstairs shortly, I think, for coffee and maybe a bite to eat, before administering the coup de grace to this job.
