Bloody technology.
Sometime this evening while I was downstairs for our games evening, my PC seems to have taken it upon itself to download and reinstall Firefox.
I didn't know it would or could do that of its own accord - I thought it just alerted you to updates and waited for you to decide upon the download and install. For reasons best known to itself, it then ate my profile and took all my bookmarks with it. I have just tried to reconstruct the list from memory; I think I've got most of my usual haunts sorted, but I'm not best pleased. Particularly since I will now have to faff around remembering all the obscure user names and passwords I've accumulated over the years.
Pah.
