I suppose that I must be more of a softie that I supposed, but that whale that got stuck in the Thames is still there, despite attempts to rescue it, and I find myself concerned over the safety of the brute. Not that there's anythin I can do. Still, it would be nice to read that the marine biologists looking after it had managed to get it back out to sea, possibly with a few fish inside it and a little 'present from London' coffee mug.

Well, I remain hopeful for the time being.

Who said tourism was down? It's just diversifying, is all!

Pilot whale seen swimming past Houses of Parliament.

Unfortunately the Thames is just too far away for me to nip down and have a look at lunchtime...
