As I sit here drying off before wandering to and collapsing in my pit, I am faced with a dilemma.
All evening I have felt rather woozy and a little light headed. But the antihistamines I bought seemed to have stopped the eyes and nose running. So far so good. I wasn't unduly worried about the light headedness and tiredness; I figured I just haven't been sleeping as well as I might in the heat.
Anyways, I was chatting to My Girl TM online and she suggested that I might be dehydrated, she being an expert in these matters (no, really). I guessed it was possible the hot weather sort of crept up on us and I don't think I have increased my non-caffeinated liquid intake enough to compensate as I would normally. So I finished off my hot chocolate, got ready for the shower and downed 3/4 pint of water.
Result?
I now feel considerably less woozy just as I want to go to bed (but not completely clear headed, more water, mayhap). The other problem is that suddenly my body, particularly the mucus membranes in my head suddenly have more spare liquid to fanny around with. So the snot monster is back!
Buggrit.
There has to be a reasonable compromise between walking snotquake and zombiism; there has to be...
