Surprisingly short
Thursday, September 28th, 2006 06:24 pmIt is the fag end of the day and I have tomorrow off, so that I can spend a restful and long weekend with
ellefurtle, generally chilling and doing as little as possible.
I am surprised, though it happens every year, just how dark it is getting outside even though as I type it is 18.20 and thus hardly late. Still, we’re only a couple of days off October, so I guess I should be ready for it. I think it is the unseasonable warmth that is messing up my perceptions. Blame the weather, eh? That’s the way to do it.
I haven’t heard back from the electrician who is supposed to be turning up to fix the light in the entrance passage on Saturday. Not too concerned yet, but I may text him tomorrow and ask for an approximate ETA; don’t want him to forget or I shall have to start carrying a torch in my work bag. It gets rather dark down that passage and hallway in the winter.
I have surprisingly little to say and I am feeling rather tired. I think I shall have a quick cup of coffee and then clear off home.
