How many people have more than one blog?

Don't worry, I don't want to know details, I'm just curious how many other web presences people have. In various guises I have (I think), three blogs, with a theoretical only joint posting access to a fourth. on the grounds that I was invited, I have this odd Facebook thing, which is clearly aimed at the US. I have no idea what I am supposed to do with it other than amass lists of friends to ignore. I also have another account with Linked-In which also serves no particular purpose other than listing as many mutual friends as possible.

The thing is, I don't actually know why I bother with any of them; I update this LJ and by and large enjoy doing it, but the others receive between cursory and no attention. I used to maintain my blogger site and tried to resurrect it, but I ran out of steam almost immediately. Essentially, I can't be bothered to write meaningful political or social commentary of the type that demands links to other sites as citations to the points made. My Wordpress blog is conspicuously empty. It happened by accident while I was trying to take advantage of posting access to a friend's resurrected but still inoperative blog.

Other than this current forum and variously photobucket and flickr, I'm not sure I see the point of spreading the guff around in more than one place.

Apparently I am being a stick in the mud today. What can I say?

A bunch of us went out for a meal last night: [livejournal.com profile] colonel_maxim, [livejournal.com profile] maisiecat, Hayden sans LJ, [livejournal.com profile] bytepilot, [livejournal.com profile] thalinoviel, [livejournal.com profile] ellefurtle and Yours Truly.

All in all a very enjoyable visit to the local Italian, Al Fresco. Unfortunately, I spent most of the night thereafter with indigestion and acid reflux. I am currently rather hotter than I should be and dog-tired. Unsurprising, really as I slept very badly and was up and chobbling Remagel as if they were going out of fashion. I think that I am paying for last night's meal with a mild case of food poisoning; it's not too incapacitating, but I really don't want to stray too far away from the smallest room for the next couple of hours and when I lie down I have fidgety feet, which is always a sterling, grade-one give away.

I shall email my boss shortly and excuse myself from going in; I hope he doesn't think that I am swinging the lead and extending my long weekend off. You can trust me when I say that I really would rather go into work than lie around the house feeling miserable.

In brighter news, today will be my 11th consecutive day without a smoke.

I know that the old giblets are playing up when I can sit at my desk with a cup of coffee and eye a bag containing three juicy Eccles cakes with nothing more than deep suspicion.

Bah.

I am beginning to feel hungry. This is a good sign.

Lunch will be tomato soup and bread, I think. Nothing too strenuous!

Comparatively early to bed tonight methinks. Despite having spent the day at home I am knackered. Very little sleep last night and continued, though diminishing indigestion during today has ensured my continued tiredness. Still, recovered enough to have put away an entire Eccles Cake, so I am on the mend.

I find myself with little if anything of any real import to say, so I shall leave it at that and bid you all a good night.

Oh yes, keep an eye out for the new Snickers advert on the telly. It involves Mr T a tank and a game of Sunday League football (soccer). Someone in the world of TV advertising has lost it big time.

Good night.
