Pity the fool
Tuesday, May 15th, 2007 10:24 pmComparatively early to bed tonight methinks. Despite having spent the day at home I am knackered. Very little sleep last night and continued, though diminishing indigestion during today has ensured my continued tiredness. Still, recovered enough to have put away an entire Eccles Cake, so I am on the mend.
I find myself with little if anything of any real import to say, so I shall leave it at that and bid you all a good night.
Oh yes, keep an eye out for the new Snickers advert on the telly. It involves Mr T a tank and a game of Sunday League football (soccer). Someone in the world of TV advertising has lost it big time.
Good night.

Date: 2007-05-16 01:09 pm (UTC)Mr T looks great when you compare him to Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz who have most definately aged or swallowed a hefalump.
Mind you in these enlightened liberal times it's only going to be a matter of time before the advert is pulled....not because of the fact that Mr T crushes car with his tank, or is depicted damaging municipal property by demolishing a park gate and tennis court...but because some whiny arsed fool (I pity them BTW) will object to Mr T throwing a chocolate bar and striking the football player in the face.
Some one will complain that it will further corrupt the Happy Slapping Hoddies with ASBOs....
