Annoyed

I am a little annoyed.

I have spoken to the landlord about the need for repairs at the Athenaeum Club and he seems OK with that; he said all the right things at least. Unfortunately the bloke he wants to do the work hasn't answered his phone the past three times I've rung him to arrange details. Neither has he phoned back.

And now, to add insult to injury, the boiler has fallen over again. We have no hot water and yes, you've guessed it, the plumber won't come out until Tuesday at the earliest and then only after we have cleared it with the landlord. Until then it will be cold water laundry and cold showers (ho ho). Though we can boil the kettle for washes, I guess.

This place is just falling apart and no-one seems to care.
