I think the vitamin pills are working
Thursday, December 13th, 2007 01:16 pmLovely fresh morning, though I was nearly too tired to appreciate it. When I got home yesterday evening, I put some music on and promptly crashed out for about three hours, which meant that I slept badly during the night proper, with all the consequent knock on effects.
Still, when I finally dragged myself out of the house this morning, I was just alert enough to appreciate how good the trees looked in the park in the Dollis Valley, with the sun catching the frost on the branches. Half an hour earlier they were all shrouded in mist, so in burning that off, the sun had not had time to melt the ice, so I got a view of it to its best advantage. I took a couple of photos on my phone (it hadn’t occurred to me to bring my camera out). I’ll put them on my PC tonight and if they’re any good I’ll post them to LiveJournal.
Overall today is so far shaping up quite well; I don’t feel so tired now (there have been a couple of meetings between this paragraph and the first two) and I have managed to crack a job that was giving a colleague some grief (it was a cinch if you know where to go for the information, but let’s retain an air of mystique, eh?).
Best of all, for the use of 6 days annual leave, I can finish work on 21 December (a week tomorrow) and not return until 7 January!
