Another Friday rolls around and with it the promise of a weekend's jollity. I always like Fridays, particularly Friday evenings. The entire weekend is still there, hanging just out of reach, like a juicy ripe fruit and it is all anticipation unsullied by disappointing reality. (My, how lyrical I wax this morning).
Of course, I still haven't got my finger out and sorted a TV aerial for the Carpathia and I am away next weekend, so I'm not sure when that will happen (the TV aerial, not then weekend: I'm pretty clear on when the weekend will happen). Having toyed with the idea of Freesat, I am beginning the swing back in favour of a standard digital aerial. I already have a working digibox, why spend the money on a new one for the satellite dish?
Still, we'll see.
I see it's July 4th. Have a nice long weekend, those of you for whom this is a significant date. Here we have to wait another seven weeks or so for a bank holiday and then that's it until Christmas.
