Croeso a Dywyn
Tuesday, April 13th, 2010 07:11 pmFor some reason, LJ App posted the photo at the third attempt, but swallowed the text. Hello then, edit function!
We drove down to Tywyn this afternoon, in the sunny county of Gwynedd in North Wales. The only web access I have until Friday is via my iPhone, so don't expect very long posts for a day or two!
( picture behind bandwidth and format saving cut! )
it became apparent while we were at the Linen Mill in Dinas Mawddwy, that the RAF have taken delivery of some new Typhoon fighter aircraft and were flying them down the valleys. This part of North Wales is often used for low flying practice and it is not uncoomon to be able to look down from the road to see a jet speeding below you!
I managed to snap this one peeling off to fly down the adjoining valley, across the pass towards Machynlleth. Sadly I only had my iPhone available, but then if I'd used a proper camera, I wouldn't have been able to post it for ages!
