Apparently they do still make them like that
Monday, January 10th, 2011 10:31 amAfter a very late night on Saturday, we didn’t really achieve anything yesterday, not even the walk around the park we had promised ourselves. Sunday morning can’t be said to have happened on account of playing World of Warcraft until about 3.30 am, which was naughty, I suppose, but fun. Of course, since we were dungeoning with other guild members, it highlighted just how poor our character layouts and skill sets were, so the remainder of Sunday got swallowed sorting that out.
Ahem.
Of course, in the evening, we caught the bus to Wanstead to see
mrtonylee and
belle_fille1982, where we chatted, devoured huge amounts of pizza and watched the inestimable Sharktopus.
Magnificent is not the word!
Had Roger Corman never existed, it would have been necessary to create him simply to make this movie. It is transcendent, it is awe-inspiring, and it is quite simply one of the most remarkable pieces of film making that has ever been perpetrated.

We saw a clip or two from Megashark versus Giant Octopus. I must see this movie so I can compare the two appropriately.
