If only I'd known...
Sunday, May 8th, 2011 07:40 pmAccording to this intelligence derived from
colonel_maxim over on Farcebørk, we only have a couple of weeks left before airplanes start dropping out of the sky, as saved pilots get dragged off to Heaven, and those of us who are left have five months of zombie apocalypse before Armageddon on 21 October.
This means that I have wasted my time finally getting life insurance, but also that I need no longer worry about my job being cut or being made redundant. In fact, if I'd known, I'd have taken early retirement so I could live the Life of Riley for the last few months of our Earthly toil. Still, live and learn, I say.
What worries me most, is the fact that it is unlikely that the house insurance will pay up in case of apocalypse, though we are covered if a pilotless airplane drops on it. I think I can safely assume that insurance assessors will still be here after the Rapture, so we should have time to file a claim. If that happens, I shall claim for the fence that was damaged in the recent car accident out front, too. Fair's fair after all.
So. The world ends on 21 October. That is Trafalgar Day, as it happens. Still, lucky escape for Arsenal if it did, eh?
