caddymanWell, the Accies' winning streak failed to continue. We was beat good and proper last night in week two of the quiz season by Rosslyn Park.
Three of the four players on the Rosslyn Park side are GOOD EGGS who we have known for many years and who, it has to be said, are probably better quizzers than we on the Accies. Not that we let that get in the way of BEER and bravado.
Unfortunately, their current fourth team member is a tosser of the finest cheddar. Almost as camp as Graham Norton, but with the personality traits of a boiled turd. All flounce, and no bounce; an EGO in a hissy fit. Come the revolution, I know where and to whom the white hot poker is being applied.
NB: I feel a completely unrelated rant brewing, but I'm not sure if I have the time to do anything other than simmer...
