I have eaten too much carrot. Attempting to damp down the inner turmoil with a banana is proving to have been a mistake. I doubt that I shall follow up with an apple as was the initial plan.

As a matter of interest, Beta Carotene has been around for ages. When's the final release due?

A woman I worked with ate so many carrots for several weeks that she turned yellow. She thought she had jaundice, went to the doctor and he told her she had too much beta carotene in her system. Don't eat too many brussels sprouts, Bry, or you'll turn green and your colleagues will have to open a window.

I used to hate the things when I was a lad, but I love them now, probably because my wife cooks them more to my taste than my mum did. My sister calls them fart pellets. I can't imagine why...
