It's raining. Heavily.

I was promised snow. Lots of it. Well, not promised, particularly: just incessant bloody weather warnings on the radio and such.

Not a fekking flake.

I am part annoyed and part relieved. Annoyed because I do like a bit of snow, but relieved because my knee is still not up to snuff and I expect that I should find it comparatively hard going getting around out on the old frozen stuff. Nonetheless, it is one of the drawbacks of living in the capital: all the interesting weather (apart from smog) happens elsewhere.

depends who you meet in smog doesn't it? if you met spring-heeled jack that would be more than interesting but if it was creepy Swedish guy then that would be ... creepy. Meeting Simon Sharma would be interesting, unless he was in a hurry but I take your point that smog on it's own is not interesting. Not that we have smog properly anymore --- ah the old days when smog could kill you on the street in minutes, not like now when it just gives you asthma.

We have snow and lots of it- you are welcome to it! Took an hour to do a 20 minute journey to work today (Mr B sensibly is working from home). Apparently in the woollybacks there is up to 8 inches of the cold white stuff!
