It occurs to me that I should begin giving a little thought to updating the bio page on this here LiveJournal thing o’mine. In one short month the current text will be out of date (marginally) and I may as well revamp it properly (not that anyone ever reads bio pages).

Maybe a complete retooling of the journal is called for: something in beige, with comfy slippers and a cardy, perhaps. Except that I don’t particularly feel as though I am about to tip into the second half of my century. I suspect that you can expect more of the same: pointless rambles on subjects both abstruse and mundane. Oft times at the same time, for my brane wanders where it will with feet of whimsy and the attention span of a concussed mongoose.

I tend to update mine about once a week with any old rubbish I've happened upon. Keeps me quiet.

May I suggest refurbishing with panels of fumed oak, heavy satin drapes, deeply uphostered leather chairs and an attentive but discrete butler to serve G&Ts and iron the morning papers?

Speaking for myself, I thoroughly enjoy the bio on your profile and have read it a few times. When considering adding someone as a friend, I always inspect their profile. I've avoided a few dodgy types that way. I have recently considered writing something a bit better than a shopping list in my own profile.

You and Mr M must have birthdays very close to each other. we will celebrate a half century on 11th of next month. perhaps I will unpick the rather oversize sweater I made last eyar and reknit it about 8 sizes smaller. In the meantime I have to think about what to get him.
