Watchmen

The Times review of Watchmen gives the movie four stars (from five) and pronounces it a success. The downside is that:

“the deadly serious nature of the project only highlights the many titter-inducing splashes of camp – the lair of Ozymandias, in particular, is very ker-pow!-era Batman.”
