caddymanI have always been wary of Bluetooth; I just can't make it work as advertised. In fact I have come to loathe it: I keep my mobile phone invisible to the brutish application; if I can't bend it to my will no other bugger is going to do it remotely, thank you very much.
I have been trying to get my old mobile to speak to my iPhone so that I can transfer the Dr Who theme (yeah, I know, but this is me, OKAY?) I use as a ring tone to the newer phone. Well, that's proving well-nigh impossible. I have given up pretty much.
Later, when she has time, Furtle has offered me the use of her Mac notebook as a sort of electronic ACAS to get the two devices talking to each other. Worth a try, I suppose, but frankly I'm not hopeful.
