It's quiet; too quiet

Live Journal is not so much quiet as entirely dead this morning.

Has everyone been invited to a party that I know nothing of, or have you all turned into little gooey puddles in front of your keyboards because of the heat?

Have you got air conditioning, or is it just a question of wondering whether to keep the windows shut to keep the worst of the heat out?

We have _some_ aircon (since the building work) but only in the server room, rotwang's office and the bedroom. It is actually very slightly less unpleasant down here today, but there's not much in it... normally I'd consider taking my laptop over to RW's office on the other side of the house, but (meanly and unreasonably) he's actually in it today ;)
