Help me Lazyweb, you're my only hope.

I am looking to buy an external hard drive in the next couple of weeks – and have a budget of about £50-£60 to spend1. I was eyeing up Seagate drives as I’ve bought those before and they seem reasonably reliable. Reliability is more important than speed since the drive will be used for mainly data storage and back ups, rather than applications.
Does anyone know of any good deals out there at the moment that I should take into consideration?
1Though I may revisit this as I see for a few extra quid I can walk into Maplin’s and buy a 1TB disk instead of a 500GB device.
