Blame it on the boogie

I've been busy, so this is later than I would otherwise have written it...
This morning on the way to work, I encountered a young chap with the biggest afro I’ve seen in the past 25 years. He was clearly too young to remember their 70’s heyday, but by crackey, he was making the effort. The lapels weren’t quite wide enough and the iPod earphones were an anachronism, but Disco Stu don’t pay no heed, he was ready to step into the boogie.
Or he might have been in an evangelical church choir.
Either way, I have an unaccountable desire to listen to Staple Singers’ songs. Or even the Jackson 5…
