First non-Moff written episode and we are back to plot canyons and Deus ex Machina. Remember, folks, Mark Gatiss isn't quite the writer he thinks he is.

A fun romp with Star Wars meets the Battle of Britain, but ultimately unsatisfying.

Oh yes. Daleks by BMW, with a Habitat colour range? Try a little harder, chaps.

I quite like the new Daleks with one exception - their humped backs.

I agree with your assessment, but as a whole it was alright.

Wasn't anything special, but it was an enjoyable romp.

I agree with all of the above. It was okay, but flawed. Totally agree about Mark Gatiss' writing. He tends to write larger than life, and not yet seen that be pulled off successfully in DrWho.

So much about the new series looks plastic like the first teaser, the outside of the Tardis, and now the Daleks. They just made me think of Lego and they ceased being menacing or believable.

I'm pretty sure you can get iPods in that whole colour range.

iPods are the advance guard for the Dalek invasion of Earth?

..still, 'Daleks in Manhatten' made 'Victory to the Daleks' look like Shaft Shakespeare.

True, but the bar has been raised since then.
